Amy Winehouse

I could not close out my evening without mentioning Amy Winehouse. Her untimely death has left a hole, whether it be small or large, in the music world. She entered the game at a time when we were all in need of depth and soul from our artists; when we came to accept auto-tune as a legitimate form of singing. Ms. Winehouse provided us with a breath of fresh air on Back to Black that should not be forgotten. So, while the news is focusing on some of her lowest moments, I would like to remember her, as I would want people to remember me when I am gone, at her best.

In Wedding Mode; Forgive My Absence.

It's saturday night and I'm sure most of you are out looking fabulous and enjoying the beautiful, warm evening air. What am I doing? Watching my sister and man piece build an arch that I may use for my wedding this coming friday. After 5 years of being together and 2 years of engagement, we finally decided to just do it! 

Let's get to the important stuff though; what we're wearing. My colors are Ivory and Pink/Fuschia.

This Lady Bug was in Union Square and she caught my daughter's attention. After my daughter told her she loved her costume, she proceeded to ask "Mommy, is she having Halloween early?"
