So, my girlfriend called me yesterday to hang out for a bit, and I suggested the local outlet mall. I set out with the idea that I wouldn't buy anything and just spend the afternoon window shopping; wrong. Why do I do it to myself? I start trying on shoes and before I know it, I'm skipping around like a little kid all hopped up on sugar and calling the Man Piece to clear all purchases with him. I promise it is a hilarious sight.
Here a few pictures of shoes we tried on in Neiman Marcus: Last Call...
Both styles are by Charles Jourdan.
And this is in Off Broadway...
Bebe on sale for $89.90
And, here is what I bought...
Pink and Sparkly!! I lost it when I tried them on! And, they were on sale for $40! I was almost late picking up my children from the bus because I could not leave the store without them. $40 is a freaking steal!!
I'M A SHOE-A-HOLIC ON A BUDGET!

Have you seen the Bottega Veneta Resort 2012 collection? If not, please visit Vogue.com! Trust me when I tell you there is not one disappointment in the collection. This is one of my favorite pieces. But if you are not in the position to spend a great deal of money to purchase this dress, check out the H&M version.
H&M has a similar look for a lot less; $34.95.

My girlfriend, Niyeda, married her high school sweetheart last year in style. Being the creative person that she is, she masterfully created the peacock feathered hairpiece she is wearing, and spiced up her wedding gown with a pair of teal peep toe heels. Take a look...
I love when women step outside of the box. The feathers were very Carrie-esk (totally made that up) of SATC, and she never even watched the show!
What do you think?
By the way...she is a wonderful event planner! I'm just saying!
Updating my blog has been an obsession since I started it almost two months ago, but grad school has now taken precedence. Unfortunately and fortunately, I still have a few classes to go before completing my MBA and I cannot wait!! Ugh!! So many shoes and so little time to talk about them! I say all of this to say, please bare with me as my updates may not happen regularly. I will try my best, but education first!!
Okay, now on to the good stuff! Here are a few pics of fun/funky shoes by Irregular Choice!
Listen up all of you fashion obsessed people!! Vogue launched a link called Voguepedia, and it is what it sounds like!!(click on blog entry title to take you directly there) 119 years of all things Vogue that we can all use to our advantage. I don't know about you, but I am obsessed with all things 60s, 70s and 80s; and the ability to search through Vogue's archives has me damn near doing backflips in my living room!
I saw these on Saturday at Aldo, tried them on and fell in LOVE!! They made my legs look so good! I originally picked them out for my friend, but she wasn't feeling them. I don't know what her problem is because this shoe is fire!
So, I was out with my girlfriend, Stacy, helping her shop for shoes and handbags, and we came across this fabulously dressed sales person at Urban Outfitters. Me, being the complete nut job that I am about fashion, begged this handsome young guy to take a photo for my blog.
Is he not put together?! I had goose bumps because of the nude colored shoes (from Urban Outfitters) and the blazer!
He gets 4 out of 5 shoes on my new, and I mean new as I just came up with it, scale of fabulousness.
What do you think?
P.S. What is your name fabulous sales person? I was so excited about the photo that I forgot to ask. So sorry!!

Stuart Weitzman kills it with this tan colored wedge! The laser cut leather with the laces gives what could have been a boring wedge, a whole lot of edge! And, as we should all know by now, tan is the new black!
